Successfully operated as General Manager at The Production Hub, managing productions, leading the production team, preparing tenders and submissions to clients and ensuring delivery of projects to budget, to deadline, and of the highest quality. ‘The Hub’ was a Canberra production company specialising in federal government video and broadcast documentaries (largely with an Indigenous focus). Clients: DEWHA, AusAID & Dept. Attorney-General. Broadcast credits: ABC 1, Channel 10 & NITV.

Reinvigorated ScreenACT, the ACT Office of Film, Television, and Digital Media to have an enhanced focus on local industry, by establishing a new grant scheme to support local projects, running capacity building workshops, and establishing networks with national and state screen organizations. Under my management, the ACT Government extended ScreenACT funding from a one year commitment to five years.
Improved content, branding and professional standards at Papua New Guinea TV network, EmTV, working as Executive Producer in a busy environment with limited resources. My input included new network graphics, restyled programs (news and sports), and new content, including a talent program and weekly live sport. I also assisted production staff with training, mentoring and establishing networks with foreign contemporaries.
Moresby Modern: A New Generation for PNG? A self-produced 52 min ethnographic documentary exploring socio-economic change and challenges in Papua New Guinea through the experiences of seven young professional Papua New Guineans. Distributor: Ronin Films
Producer/ Director: Government projects for Bearcage Productions, Canberra. Australia’s market leader in video production for federal government. Projects included online promotional videos for the Department of Health and Ageing and the Department of Innovation; and training videos for The Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Producer: Millennium Development Goals. Online video vignettes produced for AusAID.
Producer: Australia Indonesia Institute Web Vignettes. Two online video stories produced for Australian Dept of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Jakarta) highlighting participants in the people-to-people programs the Australia Indonesia Muslim Exchange Program and the Australia Indonesia Youth Exchange Program.
Producer/ Director: Australia Indonesian Education Partnership – Madrasah Evaluation and Monitoring. A 15 minute video that journeys inside three different Indonesian madrasah (Islamic schools) to document change brought about by Australian Aid; and to help demystify the madrasah environment and system. Produced for GRM International, an Australian Aid contractor.

Communications Specialist in Jakarta for the ASEAN-US Technical Assistance and Training Facility, a USAID project that provided support to ASEAN. My role included writing outreach material including background documents, media advisories, press releases, and thematic papers; providing media liaison and on the ground support at events; and photography, image sourcing, image editing, website support, graphic design, and PowerPoint design. Projects and events worked across the Education, Health, Legal, Business, and Trade sectors.
